Michael Bello of Seatac, WA and Carson City, NV, passed away October 15, 2025 after 83 years of an active fun life of Service for our country, Electrician, Lineman, Electrical Engineer, Father, Grandfather of 5 girls and of course he loved to dance. Mike was born December 4, 1941. (As Mike would say “Three days before Pearl Harbor”)

We are Celebrating Mike’s life with a gathering of friends at The Barn on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 7:30 – 9:00 pm. If you were a friend of Mike’s, join us and please bring a potluck appetizer to share as we remember Mike and dance to some of his favorite dance songs.

Mike came to the Rockin’ Horse Dance Barn in 2013 looking to improve his Two-step. He didn’t have a partner so Jimmi stepped in to be his partner for the dance lessons. After almost a year into his dance lessons we FINALLY got him to start attending our “Every Friday Night Dances” where some of you may have had a chance to meet him. As most people know, Jimmi was always Mike’s favorite dance partner.

Since that time Mike traveled with Dave & Jimmi to lots of places on Dance Cruises, RV camping, Reno Rib Cook-Offs, and more…
All Night Long by Jo Walsh
Mike kept working full-time into his 79th year when the company he worked for finally said it was enough and gave him a huge retirement package. Now Mike could dance all the time except when he was busy helping Dave & Jimmi with projects and landscaping things around the Barn.
