“Learn to Dance” PRE- Dance Lessons

Friday Night Dancing offers dance lessons before the dancing starts. For a list of what dance lessons will be taught please scroll down to the listings by date for details.

Time: 7:00 – 8:00
Price: $15.00/person (Dancing afterward is included 8-10:30pm)

Friday Night Dancing plus Events

Friday Night Dancing happens Every Friday Night at the Rockin’ Horse Dance Barn in Renton, WA. The evening starts with a Pre-dance lesson at 7:00 pm. It rotates every week through all the types of dance styles we offer with the exception of the first Friday of the month, this is always a Line Dance lesson. Then at 8:00 pm we start the open dancing time with a variety of music for all skill levels and ages 18 and over. We allow both Partner/Couples Dancing around the the floor while the Line Dancing takes place in the center of our beautiful 4,000 square foot hardwood dance floor. At 9:00 pm we offer an organized dance mixer. Everyone can join in on it because we teach the steps every week for all the newcomers. The dancing goes until 11:00 pm. We also offer a bonus Class Party Potluck during the dance at the end of our 5-week and 6-week dance class series’ and Special Events for the various Holidays throughout the year. What Should I Wear for Friday Night Dancing?

Casual to Smart Casual
Men are in black jeans or dark slacks and nice shirts.
Women wear jeans, skirts and dresses.
To help save our beautiful dance floor, please bring your clean & dry dance shoes and change once you are in the building.
If the night has a dress code that will be noted in the advertising.
