Friday Night Dances

Notice they are on the 1st Friday of each month and the 4th Friday of each month.

DO NOT CONFUSE them with the last Friday of a month because sometimes there are 5 Fridays in a month. We don’t have dances on that Friday.

ONLY THE FIRST AND FOURTH Fridays of the month.

“Learn to Dance” PRE- Dance Lessons

Friday Night Dancing offers dance lessons before the dancing starts. For a list of what dance lessons will be taught please scroll down to the listings by date for details.

Time: 7:00 – 8:00
Price: $18.00/person (Dancing afterward is included 8-10:30pm)

Friday Night Dancing plus Events

Friday Night Dancing happens on the 1st and the 4th Friday Nights of the month at the Rockin’ Horse Dance Barn in Renton, WA. The evening starts with a Pre-dance lesson at 7:00 pm.

1st Friday of the month is a “Line Dance” Lesson. It’s a beginner level Line Dance, probably new and easy for new dancers to learn in an hour.
4th Friday of the month is a “Partner Dance” Lesson. We rotate through our most popular dance styles from month to month.

Then at 8:00 pm we start the open dancing time with a variety of music for all skill levels and ages 18 and over. We allow both Partner/Couples Dancing around the the floor while the Line Dancing takes place in the center of our beautiful 4,000 square foot hardwood dance floor (at every dance, regardless of what the lesson is that night. At 9:00 pm we offer an organized dance mixer. Everyone can join in on it because we teach the steps at to the group at every dance. The dancing goes until 10:30 pm. What Should I Wear for Friday Night Dancing?

Casual to Smart Casual
Men are in black jeans or dark slacks and nice shirts.
Women wear jeans, skirts and dresses.
To help save our beautiful dance floor, please bring your clean & dry dance shoes and change once you are in the building.
If the night has a dress code that will be noted in the advertising.
