A Waltz At Midnight 2018
A Waltz At Midnight 2018 at the Seattle Event: Venice Is Sinking by Jimmi & Dave Serfling on March 24, 2018
Venice Is Sinking: A Venetian Masked Carnival Ball held at the Seattle Design Center celebrating and its 11th year
This year Jimmi and Dave Serfling performed the Viennese Waltz at Midnight before a crowd of 600 guests. All evening different acts performed for the masked guests. This includes African Drummers, Irish Step Dancers, Aerial Acts on Ropes, Pole Dancers with unbelievable strength and grace, a world renowned violinist, a Cyr Wheel performer (Giant Wheel Man) and a Viennese Waltz at Midnight.
This Masquerade Ball is for 21 and over and has a strict dress code of Formal and Masked. Many of the guests are wearing period costumes with white wigs, uniforms, hats and of course huge dresses with hoops and petticoats. There is a parade of the costumes for the contest with huge prizes to the winners too.
With a huge dessert room, bartenders, a DJ, an circus-like MC, Live music and a VIP lounge the event does not let you down. Think Cirque-du-Soleil and Teatro Zinzanni together.
We hope to add a video of Jimmi and Dave Serfling dancing a Waltz at Midnight 2018. Please check back in a few days.
How do we find out about these events in advance, so that we can attend them?
I’m not sure in this case. It wasn’t our event. We were hired to perform for them. I suppose you could join her email list for notifications. https://www.facebook.com/VeniceIsSinkingSeattle/
Hi Jennifer: This is Tracy Klinkroth, I’m the Organinzer of Venice is Sinking. Please email me at tracy@chickchat.net with your email address, and I’ll add you to our party database so you get emails/invites to all our parties!
Great fun! You go Dave & Jimmi! Waiting to see your waltz.
How COOL was that!! Looking forward to your video. This reminds me of one of our Swarovski trips to Italy & Austria in about 2001. Because of Swarovski’s Italian theatre theme that year, we were given mask shapes and we had to decorate our own mask using Swarovski crystals. We had a dinner in a old castle and everyone was masked and photos taken. Your evening certainly brought back a lot of trip memories for me. I still have our masks.
I’m sure it was fabulous! I am sorry I missed it.
Lyn

Thanks Lisa, trust me we had a lot of practice before we did that.
