Most Months have 4 Saturdays but every 3 months there is a 5th Saturday. 
We plan our DJs & dances according to which Saturday of the Month.

The band has years of experience in the idiom, collectively and individually.   Accordionist Leroy and rubboard player Tina are former members of the popular Seattle zydeco band "Captain Leroy and the Culture Pirates", and have visited SW Louisiana many times to jam with musicians there. Drummer Cutts lived in New Orleans for many years, honing his style with local musicians there.   Bass player Skye, anchors the Locals' low end and has played with recording artist Christie McWilson. They have been in existence for 8 years and have had the privilege of achieving a regular playing schedule throughout the Greater Seattle area. The Mach One Jazz Orchestra has gained a reputation as an aggressive big band that plays with a great deal of energy, technical competence and enthusiasm. Over the years, Mach One has experienced surprising little turnover in personnel. The members stay with the band because they like to play great music!
